Giải Điền kinh thế giới vừa kết thúc tại thành phố Osaka của Nhật bản. Chín ngày thi đấu đã đem lại những kết quả đáng ghi nhớ và kết thúc tốt đẹp, không xảy ra một vụ bê bới nào. Alex Capstick tường thuật:

The most successful athlete has been the American sprinter, Tyson Gaye, who will leave Japan with three gold medals.[/FONT]

The sports governing body is under pressure to attract a new audience. One idea under consideration is to make the schedule more compact, by reducing the length of the championships.[/FONT]
