Em đọc từ cuốn "Principles of financial accounting" 3e, Ian Gillespie, Ian Gillespie, Richard Lewis, Kay Hamilton, Prentice Hall

("turnover" trong chapter về limited company accounts, còn chapter trước đó về partnership accounts thì cuốn sách dùng "Sales")

- Cuốn thứ 1:
+ Revenue: thu nhập, hoa lợi, thu nhập tài chính, thu nhập thuế, tiền thu thuế, sở thuế, phòng thuế, cục thuế
+ Turnover: doanh số, mức tiêu thụ, lượng giao dịch, mức chu chuyển (hàng tồn trữ) lưu động, điều chỉnh (nhân viên), doanh thu.
- Cuốn thứ 2:
+ Revenue: money received, money received by a government in tax
+ Turnover: the amount of sales of good or services by a company, the number of times something is used or sold in a period, usually one year, expressed as a percentage of a total
--> Tớ nghĩ Revenue mang nghĩa rộng hơn, nó là tổng doanh thu của công ty bao gồm cả doanh thu bán hàng và cung cấp dịch vụ, doanh thu tài chính và thu nhập khác. Còn Turnover thì chỉ là doanh thu bán hàng và cung cấp dịch vụ thôi.

For me, Revenue is the amount of money coming in from sales/production.

Turnover is the extent to which/the amount you are producing.

However, two points mean the total returns of a business
