About the job
• Job title : Chief Accountant
• Reporting to : Department Manager
• Job location : Ho Chi Minh City
• Salary indication : 1500 – 2000 USD Gross/Month
• Starting date : ASAP
Main activities of job:
• Month end closing of the full set of financial / accounting reports
• Ensuring compliance with Vietnam accounting standard and company procedures as well as accuracy of all information
• Analyzing all aspect of financial data to provide useful insights on company financials health to board of directors. This should include expenses analysis with a view on sustainable cost reduction to improve profitabilit
• Tracking and managing company fixed assets with proper and accurate booking of depreciation
• Ensuring proper completion of all types of tax declaration and tax issues resolution (likes VAT, FCT, PIT, CIT etc.)
• Ensuring timely and efficient processing of payments to vendors in line with contracts and agreed terms as well as company procedures and policies
• Preparing budget and forecasts for financial planning
• Liaising with internal / external auditors, tax authorities and any relevant government bodies in relation to accounting and finance matters.
• Ensuring the cash flow is under control efficiently.
Job requirement
* Education:
• University degree in Finance and Accounting
• Chief Accountant qualification
* Experience:
• At least 5 years experience with 3 years in Chief Accountant position
* Skills:
• Fluent in spoken and written Japanese
• Good English skills is a plus
• Moderate or Advanced user on office software
• Good analysing skills and planning skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Meticulous with effective follow-up skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment
